Whether you are looking for a full time-position or an internship, career fairs have become one of the most valuable recruiting vehicles for employers today. Gardner-Webb University’s Career Services together with the Metrolina Career Consortium presents the 2010 Metrolina Career Expo, the biggest career fair extravaganza to be held in Charlotte on Thursday, February 25, 2010 from 10:00a.m.-2:00p.m at the Charlotte Convention Center. Gardner-Webb University alumni and students are invited to come and learn about career opportunities and network with employers across the nation. Employers will be available for questions and interviews.
To be adequately prepared for this event, it is essential that you clarify your goals, research attending employers, prepare questions for the employer, bring your resume, and plan and practice a one-minute commercial of yourself.
