What is your current occupation?
I am currently the Executive Director for Henderson County Habitat for Humanity, Hendersonville, NC. I spent the first 14 years as an executive professional with Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the past 3 years as CEO with the Children Shelter of the Upstate, Spartanburg, SC.

What was your favorite Gardner-Webb Memory?
My favorite moment is being inducted into Gardner-Webb University Gallery of Distinguished Graduates, November 2, 2002. This was very special not only because of the honor and recognition but because my mother was able to attend the ceremony. She passed away a few years later.

What did Gardner-Webb Athletics teach you?
GWU athletics taught me the importance of teamwork and leadership. In working with non-profits organizations over the past 17 years team work and leadership are vital to successfully fulfilling and proactively advancing the mission of any business or organization. GWU provided me with a strong foundation towards my professional endeavors.
