Construction continues on the new John Henry Moss Baseball Stadium on the campus of Gardner-Webb University. The stadium is named in honor of the late John Henry Moss, a Kings Mountain, NC native and former President of the South Atlantic League who was a key contributer in the development of the stadium. Stadium construction began in late October 2009 and will be open for the first pitch of the 2011 baseball season.
