Since late October, construction has been underway for Gardner-Webb University’s new baseball stadium. Construction on the Masters Field at John Henry Moss Stadium is scheduled to conclude within the year. But in the interim, the Diamond ’Dogs will play their home games for the 2010 season at several area fields, including McNair Field, home to the Forest City Owls. Admission to the games at McNair Field will be free for all Gardner-Webb faculty, staff, and students by showing their University ID. Immediate family members of Gardner-Webb faculty and staff will also get free admission when accompanying that faculty or staff member. All other family members, however, will need to purchase tickets at the gate at $6 for adults and $5 for youth and seniors. Be sure to check the baseball schedule for updates on other home games being played at additional locations. Come and cheer on the Diamond ’Dogs as they take the field against the Appalachian State Mountaineers on Tuesday, February 23 at 3:00p.m. Click here for directions to McNair Field.
