During the past few semesters, we have been contacting you regarding the GWU Annual Fund and your response has been enormously positive. Your generosity to the Annual Fund helps ensure upgrades to your student's home away from home, whether those improvements are in their living or learning spaces. We appreciate your interest in and enthusiasm about the University and we're excited to share Gardner-Webb with you! Your support helps us make the best experience possible for all students.
This fall, we introduced two parents to you through letters asking for your joined support of Gardner-Webb. These families, the Axelsons and Alexanders, have been monumental in helping explain the importance of the Annual Fund to all GWU parents. The response during our Phonathon program has been extremely encouraging. In fall 2009, 36% of GWU parents contacted have pledged their support of the University with more than $31,000. Your impact on Annual Giving is huge, and we are immensely grateful for your support and generosity.
The Dialing Dogs, our students who represent GWU through our Phonathon program, will continue calling our alumni and parents in the spring. So, if we haven't been in touch with you yet, we look forward to talking with you soon!
