Gardner-Webb went through a spirited, pseudo-scrimmage at the end of practice Saturday, wrapping up the first week of preseason drills. The Runnin’ Bulldogs battled on both sides, with the majority of the players dressed out seeing action, as depth chart competition is still underway at many positions. One week prior, the club welcomed 90 players to campus and after dodging late afternoon thunderstorms and high humidity, took to the field for their first practice of the 2010 season.
