Are you looking for a different way to support Gardner-Webb University students this Spring? Then join the University family for hot eats and cool treats at Dairy Queen in Shelby on Thursday, February 11, 2010. From 5:30p.m.to 7:30p.m. Dairy Queen will donate 10% of sales to benefit the Gardner-Webb New Mexico Mission Team. The New Mexico Mission Team will minister alongside the San Juan Baptist Association in cooperation with their partnership with the North Carolina Baptist Men. Tracy Jessup, Assistant Dean of Students and Minister to the University, will lead the nine-member team over Spring Break which will take place March 15-19. The team will lead worship services, conduct a community festival, install flooring, and will do other light construction projects at Living Springs Baptist Church which is located on a Navajo Indian Reservation in Counselor, New Mexico.
