The mission of the Gardner-Webb University Annual Campaign is to encourage the support of alumni, parents, and friends by identifying opportunities through which they can play a significant role in advancing the institution.
Funds raised through the Annual Campaign support numerous university initiatives. As a donor, the designation of your gift will determine how the funds are used.
The Annual Fund plays a significant role in the Annual Campaign and serves a great purpose for the University. Gifts to the Annual Fund allow GWU financial flexibility and provide for a variety of enhancements and improvements to the school and student life. Annual Fund contributions might assist in the following areas:
- Academic scholarships, grants, and other financial aid for students.
- Academic programming, technology and additional academic initiatives.
- Faculty development and retention to ensure GWU students continue to learn from the superb educators.
- Residence hall development, campus safety features and additional enhancements to ensure the best quality of life for our students on campus.
- Campus beautification and expansion efforts to ensure that the University continues to be an attractive and inviting campus for students to learn and grow.
Being an alumnus, parent, or friend of the University, you will be contacted by one of our staff members or Student Development Officers through our Phonathon program.
