What is your occupation?

Vice-President of Public Sector Sales.

What is your favorite memory about Gardner-Webb University?

My favorite memory is right after a meal catching up with everyone in the student center downstairs. We would play Pinball, PacMan or watch the latest music videos on the big screen (32 inch) TV. We did not have as much as the students do today, so we socialized and built relationships that still last today.

What is your current occupation?
I am currently the Executive Director for Henderson County Habitat for Humanity, Hendersonville, NC. I spent the first 14 years as an executive professional with Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the past 3 years as CEO with the Children Shelter of the Upstate, Spartanburg, SC.

Jim Corn, Rita Gouveia, and Erica White Receive 2011 Big South Women’s Tennis Honors

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Big South Conference announced the recipients of this year's women's tennis postseason honors in an awards ceremony this evening on Winthrop University's campus, with three high honors going to members of the Gardner-Webb squad.

GWU head coach Jim Corn was voted Big South Co-Coach of the Year, along with Coastal Carolina's Jody Davis, by the League's head coaches, Rita Gouveia was named Big South Co-Scholar Athlete of the Year with Liberty's Jordan Jenkins, and Erica White was named to the All-Conference Singles team.
